Why I chose to be an RMT

I became a Registered Massage Therapist because I’ve always been drawn to helping people feel better in a meaningful, hands-on way. Early on, I was fascinated by how the body works and how pain, stress, and injury can affect everyday life. Through my ongoing training and hands-on experience, I saw firsthand how therapeutic touch can reduce pain, improve mobility, and support overall well-being.

Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients—from those dealing with chronic pain and injuries to individuals simply needing stress relief. Each experience has helped me grow not only in my technical skills but also in my ability to listen, adapt, and provide personalized care. Seeing clients progress and regain comfort in their bodies has been incredibly rewarding and continues to motivate me in this profession.

What brought me to FTNU

I was drawn to focus in TMJ rehabilitation after seeing how jaw dysfunction can impact a person’s daily life. Many clients came in with symptoms like chronic headaches, jaw pain, neck tension —often without realizing the root cause was related to their TMJ. Through experience, I recognized that this was an area where focused, skilled treatment could make a significant difference. TMJ conditions can be complex and deeply connected to stress, posture, and surrounding musculature, which challenged me to expand my knowledge and refine my techniques.

Between the techniques

Committed to growth within my practice, I am a lifelong learner who continually expands her skills and techniques to better serve my community. Outside of the clinic, I am a proud mother of three and embrace the ongoing balance of family, health, work, and mindfulness with intention and grace.
